Umamusume DB Translate

This tool aims to translate a portion of Uma Musume ingame text by patching relevant tables in the master.mdb file.
This process is done completely in the browser. To contribute or get more details, please check the GitHub Repository.

Usage

Locate your master.mdb file after clicking the button below, or drag and drop it in the area

By default it is located at C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\LocalLow\Cygames\umamusume\master\master.mdb

Replace the game master.mdb file with the translated master.mdb file

Notes and Caveats

This process modifies game files and is NOT allowed per game Terms of Service!
Use this tool at your own risk! You are responsible for any actions taken to your account!
Not all ingame text is in master.mdb, so this method does not fully translate the game; e.g. story text remains intact.

There are length limits so some things may get cut off or look wonky.
If the game is updated and master.mdb is replaced, you will need to redo the process.
This tool is made primarily for DMM (Windows) distribution of the game, as it is way easier to replace the file.

On android it's in root/data/data/jp.co.cygames.umamusume/files/master/master.mdb and requires root access.

It's likely not possible on iOS.
